The Journal of Identifying Value is written by Barry Long. As a writer ,speaker and  consultant, Barry trades in books and ideas. He has created education and motivation programs that build on identifying value in government, business and individuals. Barry was the Town Clerk of the City of Penrith NSW from 1976 – 1987 and the General Manager from 1987-1998. A Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, he was awarded the Public Service Medal in the Australia Day Honours List of 1998 and the Centenary of Australian Federation Medal in 2003 for service to local government and the community.
